As a non-profit, Christian organization, we want you to feel welcome. Our primary objective is to provide a peaceful Christian resting place for loved ones, and a warm environment to visit. Friedens Cemetery has been part of the Troy community for many years. Spaces are available to the public at our main cemetery located on Route 162, 2 miles east of downtown Troy, just blocks away from Friedens UCC church.

We offer full burials, cremation burials and columbarium burials. Please contact the office, whether in time of need or for pre-planning at (618) 667-6535. We are happy to answer any questions you may have or provide a personal tour.  We are here for you.

    Friedens UCC Cemetery

    Prices Per Grave: $1250 Grave Opening/Closing: $1100

    Baby Grave: $250 Baby Grave Opening/Closing: $350

    2nd Right of Interment: $625

    Ash Interment: $500

    • Extra Fees for Saturday, Sundays, and holiday burials:  $300 for full burials $150 for cremation burials


    The Columbarium at Friedens UCC Cemetery

    Single Occupancy Niche: * $1,500 for a 12” x 12” niche. (*add an additional $600) Price includes the opening and closing fee.

    Double Occupancy Niche: $2,150 for a 12” x 12” niche. (*add an additional $600) Price includes the opening and closing for both ashes.

    *Door Engraving: The initial engraving of the door is $600.

    Each time the door is removed to have additional information engraved is $250.
    - For a double niche, engraving the second date of death - $300.  This includes removal of the door and securing the ashes during the engraving.

    • Extra Fee of $100 when placing the ashes on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays.
    • Extra Fee of $50 for additional opening and closings after the ashes have been placed.

    *Single Occupancy niches may be changed to a double occupancy after the initial purchase for an additional $1,300.
